Admission to games = free
Rules
1. Each team must play man to man defense – you cannot press once you are ahead by 10
or more points. No pressing in 3rd & 4th grades.
2. Shoot one free throw on shooting fouls – free throw is worth 2 points (saves time).
3. A coach or adult referee from each team should be provided for each game played.
4. Baskets will be regulation height (10 feet).
5. Substitutions are allowed on dead balls only just as in high school basketball .
6. Score will be kept, but individual and team fouls will not be kept.
7. All overtimes will be one minute long with the clock stopping the whole minute.
8. Three point shots will count when markings are on the court.
9. Two 14 or 16 minute halves with the clocking stopping the last two minutes of the game.
10. Halftime will be 2-3 minutes long.
11. Each team will get two timeouts per game.
12. Players can only play on one team per day, per grade level.
* Equal playing time is strongly recommended.
13. Each team must have one person to help operate the scoreboard.
14. Teams must provide their own Basketballs on Game day.
